Take the babysitter on vacation babysitter vacation

Bring your sitter in your suitcase?!

Summer vacation is approaching, you only have two weeks off the whole summer, and no one in your circle of family or friends can take your children during this time. To top it all off, summer camps were filled up long ago. Argh, your holidays aren't looking promising. Luckily you just had a bright idea? What if you take little one and a babysitter away with you?

Really, a babysitter on the beach?

Don't have a complex thinking that "it's too rich" to get help even during vacation. Working-moms need rest, and it is the same for stay-at-home-moms for whom the year is still very tiring! For children it's also more fun to have someone who is really there for them at all times.

Jamie, a blogger for Epic Moms explains some of the benefits of bringing a babysitter on vacation as well as some pointers on choosing the right sitter and how much to pay her in her post here

The babysitter will take them to various activity areas like the pool, the lake, the park and any other place where you would have taken your little ones yourself. She will offer them a variety of activities so they spend fulfilling vacation.

Relaxing vacation!

This solution allows you to go as a family, with the luxury of being able to have some relaxing alone time for you and your partner.

You will be able to indulge in your favourite activities, with peace of mind, and do your favourite activity that is not appropriate for little ones: boat, hiking, etc. It will also be an opportunity for a candlelit dinner on the beach and any other activities that you might not have been able to enjoy if you were with your small children.

The babysitter will take care of your little darlings, while respecting their pace, so they too, spend a wonderful holiday. Assistance that will allow you, for example, to take over after the 25th game of Hungry Hungry Hippos.

Although at first I felt like an intruder, Hugo and Amelie quickly accepted me as their big sister.
We laughed a lot, danced, sang, played on the beach and found shells to decorate our sand castles ...

As for the parents, I think I provided them with valuable help, I tried to respond quickly if there was ever fight between the children so that they could spend a great holiday. With my presence, they were able to go jet-skiing, windsurfing and went out a few nights to enjoy night walks in the moonlight. I think we all had a great holiday.
