Boys make for excellent babysitters boy babysitter

A man to watch your children?

Even thought the majority of babysitters are girls, don't make the mistake of missing the few boys. They too can make for a super babysitter for those who are willing give them a chance.

Whether your children are girls or boys, male babysitters are often popular amongst children. In general, they are players and willing to go that extra mile to entertain children. They're responsible and very skillful and have, perhaps, a little more imagination than girls to entertain the children. At worst they have as much imagination as girls.

Additional interest: The boys know better sometimes use humour to ease the tension that can arise between several children. They also have a paternal instinct and a natural authority, without having to raise their voice.

Male babysitters; stop the prejudice!

Male babysitters have a different approach with the children. They are quite capable of looking after young children, even though some of them are a little more reluctant to take care of infants. Need more proof? Consult this article which states that the prejudice on men with respect to their ability to care for children are completely unfounded.

Men are increasingly present in the official childcare organizations

Increasingly nurseries and daycares are hiring men in their organizations. The figures are however very low, accounting for only 3% of nursery staff who work with children. Yet it has been found many times that the voice of a man can appease a crying child. Their touch is warm and reminds children of the closeness of daddy.

Unfortunately clichés die hard! Some families and especially mothers do not realize that a man can be good enough to care for children. Yet we all know in our neighbourhoods, at least a great dad who takes care of his children in an exceptional and admirable way. Sometimes even better than mom!
