Kathleen, offering childcare in Simcoe for the 15 January 2018

I am preparing for my return to work from my Maternity Leave on January 15, 2018 and require a child care provider. Both my husband and I work shift work and would require someone who is able to work early mornings and 12 hour shifts. We have two boys; one is a five year boy with Autism. He is non verbal but is very fun and easy to care for. He currently is receiving therapy in our home twice a day. Also we have a one year old boy who is very sweet and fun to be around.

What we would require would be someone who is willing to work out of our home. We need someone who is able to come as early as 06:00 and work 12 hours while we are at work. Every other month we would require 2 full weekends of care. We live 1km from our workplace and are able to be there quick in case of emergency. We would require two weekends a month every other month to have you available to us. Our schedules are set in advance and you would have plenty of notice. We would prefer someone who is looking to make a commitment to our family and to our boys. We would like consistency for our boys when we are not in the home and are not looking to piece together our child care. We are willing to compensate accordingly as a result. We are also looking for someone with a police check (which we would pay for if we looked to move forward with you) as well as reference checks. We would require you to have your own transportation to our house and would prefer if you had a vehicle in case of emergency. However we would provide child seats for you. We are currently considering a full-time nanny and have no yet ruled that out. Please email me and I would be happy to answer any questions.
