We are looking for a caregiver that would be able to arrive at our home around 3:00 in the afternoon, spend a few minutes tidying up the house a bit from the morning rush, then pick our two kids up from school and most often return to oour house with them to help them with their homework, piano practice and general playtime, crafts and developmental activities.
The ideal candidate will have musical training, first aid training, verifiable references and a strong understanding of primary school subjects and teaching methods.
On occasion the ideal candidate will also be willing to take the kids to friend's houses for play dates or have friends over to our house for the same or to take them to neighborhood programs (i.e. dance lessons, sports, art lessons, walks to the park, etc). A car and/or driver's license may be an asset but not a necessity.
At the end of the day, help getting dinner started would be appreciated but not absolutely necessary.
Typically one of us will return home between 6 to 6:30, but on occasion may be as late as 8:00pm.
Compensation is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
