Looking for a fantastic nanny for our toddler twin boys:

· We are an active, healthy Canadian family living in the West end of Toronto

· We would like our Nanny to start working with us in January 2021

· We are both corporate professionals with demanding jobs so we rely on a fixed schedule. We are understanding and easy going, but do not have flexibility in our work hours

· In our home we practice strong family values and believe in a disciplined routine

· Our preference is for our nanny to start the day between 8:30 – 9:00am and to finish around 5:00-5:30pm, and we are open to discussing this schedule to ensure it works for everyone

Full-time care five days a week for our 13 month old twin boys (in January 2021) that includes:

· Follow and maintain regular and consistent routines

· Creating weekly plans/curriculum to help reach key developmental goals

· Pending social distancing requirements, participate in programs for the children (example: story/song time) that we may identify from time to time

· Document and track specific hygienic activities such as diaper changes, sleeping, eating and any medical concerns

· Building healthy eating & sleeping habits

· Serve babies healthy meals (we will work together to plan menu). Parents will feed breakfast before leaving for work, Nanny to serve morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack

· Creating an atmosphere that encourages language and literacy skills

· Advocate for what is in our child’s best interest

· Personal care for children including diaper changes, changing outfits when children require

· Provide lots of love and security

Support in household management responsibilities that include:

· Weekly meal planning

· Cooking budget-friendly healthy meals

· Grocery shopping

· Maintain a clean and organized home / light housekeeping

The qualifications we are looking for include:

· Experience working with two children under the age of 2

· Daily childcare, light house work, dinner and baby food prep

· Effective communication skills so that we can collaborate together on the best care for our child

· Gentle & calm demeanor

· English speaking

· Passion & ability to cook

· ECE preferred

· CPR, First Aid preferred

· Enjoys singing & reading

· Clean & organized

· Gentle & patient

· Detail-oriented

· High work ethic

· Ability to manage stroller

· Police background check required

Location & Workplace Environment

· Home is in Bloor West (close to Jane & Annette). TTC stops are within walking distance: 10 mins from Jane subway stop, 5 mins from #35 bus stop on Jane, 2 mins from #26 bus stop on Annette.

· Public transport pass will be provided if required

· Home includes play space for baby and kitchen for use of Family and Nanny

· Walking distance to parks, local library, coffee shops and community programming

Other information:

· We travel two to three times a year (allowing for breaks in nanny schedule), and would like to plan time off in advance with our Nanny to ensure we have a support plan that works for everyone

· We encourage our Nanny to have off time for example vacation, family events, etc. when needed and appropriate
