Looking for a live in nanny to help with all aspects of childcare and maintaining a home. There is a 3 year old boy and another boy expected in December/January. The home is in Conception Bay South and the 3 year old currently attends Early Achievers Montessori School in the east end of St. John's. The successful applicant will have a valid drivers license and clean driving abstract as transportation to and from will be necessary. Other requirements include a clear code of conduct, vulnerable sector check, criminal record check, first Aid/CPR, previous childcare experience (minimum 2 years with references), early childhood education and non smoker.
Duties would likely include, but are not limited to the following:
• Bathe, dress and feed child(ren).
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for child(ren) and may perform other housekeeping duties.
• Assist with naptime and bedtime routines.
• Provide transportation to and from activities; stay to provide supervision when necessary.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Instruct/assist in personal hygiene routines for the child(ren)
• Provide age appropriate behaviour corrections as discussed with family
• Engage in fun, age appropriate activities to encourage educational and social development.
• Open communication with family to ensure the overall well-being of the child(ren)
