Nicole, garde d’enfant à Sherbrooke southeast J1M

Hello! My name is Nicole and I am in my third year of the elementary education program at Bishop's University.
I love children, and have been babysitting for almost ten years now! My experience does not stop there, I spend my summers as a full-time live in mother's helper. When I started my summer position with this family I took care of a four year old girl and twin two year old boys! After being with this family for six years I know I can handle any challenging situation! I have babysat for children from every age, the youngest being six weeks old and the oldest being fourteen years old!

Last spring I successfully tutored a grade twelve student and helped prepare her for her final exams, which she did well on and was able to graduate. I have also completed a yearlong practicum at Sherbrooke Elementary school and am now qualified to supply teach.

I am very active and love to be outdoors. I currently play on my universities women's rugby team. I have also been part of other teams including softball, volleyball, and track and field. This gives me the experience as not only a team player, but as a leader.
When I am not at a team practice I spend my time giving back to the community of Lennoxville and my community back home in Toronto, ON. In Lennoxville, I am an active member of the Big Buddies club and in Toronto I volunteer at a local elementary school.
Some other experience I have includes playing the clarinet for seven years, and practicing this in my high school band.
