Hello!
I am a Second Year Lakehead University student studying Social Work and Psychology. I enjoy anything that involves the outdoors and school is my top priority. While in Thunder Bay I enjoy playing rugby, going to the ski hill and the mall and movies with friends. I also volunteer with the University (note-taking and fundraisers through the Social Work Student Association) as well as volunteer with Wesway.
I am currently looking to do some babysitting and/or part-time care. I have been babysitting since I obtained my Red Cross Babysitter's Course in 2009. Over the years I have babysat in my own home as well as in others for children between 0 and 12 months. I engage the children in outdoor and indoor activities such as sports (hockey, soccer, swimming, etc.), board games, learning games (word and number games) depending on the age level and interest of the child. I can help with homework (both primary and secondary level in English and French) as well as prepare meals and I always leave the home in an orderly fashion. I have provided care to children with developmental disabilities, ADHD and epilepsy. I have taken First Aid however it has been 3 years and I require re-certification which will be done this year (2015).
