My name is Angela and I am a woman of all trades. I have special interest and talent in outdoor education, and am well versed in childhood development.
I am looking to provide quality childcare. I love to take the kids outside for interactive activities (such as learning animal footprints, building shelters, nature interpretation, etc.). Indoor activities would include arts and crafts, and fun and interesting games for their growing minds and bodies. I can also provide healthy, home cooked meals and snacks.
I have over 7 years professional experience working with children. I have worked in literacy camps, section 20 schools, in camps and outdoor education, and as an English teacher abroad. I also have experience working with developmentally delayed children.
When it comes to discipline I am gentle but firm. Most clients have found me to be energetic, with a warm and professional disposition.

Angela worked at home-schooler's nature camp, which my son attended on a weekly basis for 2 sessions. Angela was great with my son. We are a bilingual family (French and English), and my son absolutely refused to speak English with anyone. We even had him attend an English preschool for 1 year, and he still did not speak English to anyone. But after a couple weeks with Angela, he started speaking English. I don't know what exactly she did, but he so wanted to interact with her, that he finally accepted that he should speak English. I did not interact a lot with Angela (only when I was dropping off and picking up my son). But she was always very pleasant, and in a good mood. My son just raved about her, and was very disappointed when she left. He has very fond memories of his time with her. I would wholeheartedly recommend Angela for any kind of work that involves working with kids.
