My name is Allyssa. I am currently enrolled in Bow Valley College to get my level 2 certificate. Ever since I was 18, I have been in childcare, with a two year break in the middle.
I am looking for a position that could possibly help me get my Childcare Worker Certificate and possibly get my Childcare Supervisor Diploma as well.
I take pride in my job as a childcare provider. Ever since I was a child, I knew I wanted to work with children.
I love to sing songs, making up new activities and crafts, as well as setting the children up for success.
Over the years, children have asked me to sing their favorite songs, so of course I would sing them. However, if I didn't know the lyrics or tune, I would search them on the internet when I got home and would memorize as much as I could then sing it with them the next day.
My dedications are for the child(ren) regardless of age, gender, race or religion. I will help in any way I can to motivate and encourage a child to become more than they ever thought possible.
I have almost 5 years experience with children. In a daycare setting, they can pay staff up to $14.00/hour with accreditation pay on top of that which is $2.50/hour. So a total of $16.50/hour.
