Sheila, garde d’enfant ponctuelle à York (fairbank / oakwood)

I grew up in Halifax, and most of my family still lives there. For the last three years, however, I was teaching middle school Spanish at an International Baccalaureate school in Vancouver. I moved to Toronto in September, and hope to eventually get a job with the Toronto District School Board (though times are tough!)

In addition to Spanish, I also speak some French, though not fluently. I can understand more than I can speak.

I have over 10 years of experience teaching piano (age 4-14), and play a few other musical instruments.

I have my Primary-Junior qualifications through the Ontario College of Teachers, and have lots of experience teaching at this level (K-7). I've also taught in Nursery/Daycare settings.

I also have experience tutoring, nannying, and babysitting.

I love kids, being outside (walking, running, hiking), playing musical instruments (guitar, violin, piano, voice), baking, eating good food (so many things!), and going on adventures.
