Kara, garde d'enfant ponctuelle - P3E Greater sudbury (robinson / lockerby)

Hi there!
My name is Kara, I am a fifth year Concurrent Education student in the primary/junior division at Nipissing University. I am currently in Sudbury and will finish my education here completing 13 weeks of placement in schools within the Rainbow District School Board. To the date I have 10 weeks of in class practicum experience working with students from Kindergarten to grade 4. I am eager to begin my career as an elementary teacher, but in the mean time I am looking to be an occasional babysitter for you and your family! I have a breadth of experience caring for numerous children in a multitude of ages ranging from newborn to early teens. I have completed my first aid and CPR level C, and numerous workshops regarding child education and recreation. As I am an aspiring teacher I am more than happy to assist with homework and early learning activities dependent on age. In addition, I have worked as a summer day camp counselor with the city of Sudbury for four years so I have an exhausted repertoire of low to high organizational games. Living an active and healthy life style is very important to me and I strive to bring out the fun in children through recreational activities, whether it's a game of tag or some good old winter sliding.
