Hello! My name is Cayla and thank you for reviewing my profile. Children have an amazing mind and look at the world with big eyes and everything is new to them. They enjoy many of the simple things in life. Its such a wonderful thing to watch and experience!

I decided to go to school for hairstlying as my career of choice and I enjoyed working with people one on one. I quickly found out that my favourite clients were children. They tell the best stories and having a child leave your chair happy after recieving a cut was the best feeling. Soon most of my clients were children.

At the moment Im enrolled in an Early Childood Education course as a part time student. I have been caring for children most of my life, from a younger brother to a cousin who had 5 children. I started watching all five from when I was 12 to when they grew up. I took the babysitting course at that time as well. For the past two years I also have started watching a handful of friends children starting from the age of 6 months.

From all this experience I believe children need to be outside tons. Parks are a part of daily routine as it opens children up to learning to care for the world and I like to teach something new about nature or the world everytime we step outside. Hikes and splash pads in the summer are also another regular activity. Going to the Library and being comfortable at the library is another activity that I think kids have lost. I have no problem in helping out with homework whenever needed. Im a very creative person and so music and crafts just happen. Especially painting! I can read music as well so I can help with any music home work as well or just to enjoy any type of music. I dont mind doing a bit of house work if thats needed as well. If your child doesnt like getting their hair cut I can offer quiet ways in getting that hair cut in or if Im asked I can give a cut if thats whats needed as well. I have my full drivers license and can have a vehicle for any trips. Im comfortable with watching your children in your home as well. Its where they feel most comfortable.

Im told Im great with kids and babies and I feel very comfortable with them. Im a mom of two children as well, and all the activities that I listed, I do and have done with my children. I look forward to meeting some amazing children!
