Hello there!

My name is Lee Cinnamon and I am a University of British Columbia – Okanagan (UBCO) Alumni with a Bachelor of Psychology degree. My boyfriend and I are moving to Vancouver at the end of August, and I am looking full-time work with an awesome family! During the past two years I have being growing and learning from the children at Renfrew Educational Services in their Specialized Autism Program.

At Renfrew I have learnt that building trust, and constant communication with the team and family members were important factors in their success throughout our program. Building trust on the front end allowed the families to have buy-in to my ability to coach them through multiple daily scenarios. We can provide the strategies, but it is up to the families to provide a consistent daily routine for their “kiddio” to reach full potential. “People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.”-John Maxwell.

Most of my work with kids has involved creating enthusiastic learning environments, and fostering a free sense of play based on my theatre training. I love to play, sing, dance, make crafts, and being outdoors!
