Jaclyn, gardienne - V5N Vancouver (south grandview-woodlands / ne kensington)

Hello!

My name is Jaclyn. I recently graduated from Brock University with a degree in Education. I also have a degree in fine arts. I have plans to increase my art studio over the next few months. And I would like to explore alternatives to public school teaching which still allow me to work with kids. I am young and eager to develop my current skills, as well as fine tune my interests.

I have little experience with kids younger than 6. No experience with diapers! However, I am a fast learner and am sure it would not take me long to pick up. Not to mention, I would really appreciate the chance to learn about younger kids! I will soon be certified as a junior/intermediate teacher (as soon as my transcripts and documentation is in order), and I am hoping to get my primary additional qualification as soon as possible.

A little more about me; I am extremely patient and compassionate. I believe that I am a good role model and I always strive to give children in my care what they need on an individualized basis. I think it is important to not only supervise children but to engage them. With my background in education, I have a knack for creating activities and problem solving on the spot!
