Dear Family,

My name is Kara and am 19 years old. I am currently looking for a work placement opportunity as a childcarer. I would be willing to do part-time or full-time work and am comfortable working with children of all ages. I have a professional background in childcare, having worked as an Au Pair in Frankfurt, Germany looking after two small children for a year. There, I was given the responsibility of caring for the well-being of both the children and the household itself.

I have my Class 7 driver's licence and have my own reliable vehicle. I am trained in Level A First Aid Canada. I do volunteer work and have volunteered with large non-profit Federations such as the Big Brothers and Big Sister of Canada in the past. I am fluent in English and German, have experience with French from secondary school and have started to learn Dutch, Norwegian and Russian on my own.

I am an ambitious and responsible individual who enjoys spending time with family and friends, learning new languages, reading, travelling and sport.
