Taylor, gardienne à Thompson

My name is Taylor, I am sixteen years old and have been living in Thompson for over two years. My first job in my home town was babysitting for my neighbor, she had to work late and her boyfriend wouldn't answer so she would call me and that's how I got started. When I moved to Thompson over two years ago, again my first job was babysitting. My sister had met someone who needed a babysitter and recommended me. I have babysat for the whole two years I have been living here. But with school it kind of got difficult. But now with everything slow and steady I would really like to get back into the business. I love kids, babies are my weakness I'm not comfortable with children under a year. Ages 1 and up I'm fine with. I try to be fair with the kids, you know. Clean up your toys and I'll put on a movie and makes snacks, or do your chores and we'll go for a walk. I don't like keeping kids cooped up in a house all day unless it's winter. But I'd rather pack a lunch and go to the park then sit at home. I do smoke cigarettes. But if you were to tell me no smoking through my hours of working I would respect your wishes and not smoke in front of your children. I know it's hard letting a stranger watch your kids, but I assure you that I would protect your kids with my life. a lot of times people would tell me 'we're going to be out late. sleep on the couch if you get tired.' but I liked to stay awake, just to show parents that I was alert at all time. I really do hope you give me a chance.

I can also so extra, if you asked me to do the dishes after supper that would be no problem. if you didn't have time to clean your house I would be on it with no extra charge. I'm not the type of person to bribe, what I am saying is me. I don't want you to think 'she's only saying that so we hire her.' I'm saying it because I know how hard it can be at times to just not have the time to clean, or to just relax.

I go to school 10-3 so I could even pick up your child if needed. I don't have a car unfortunately, but I was thinking about going for my learners. I really do hope you give me a chance to get to know you and your kids. I can also work on the weekends if you want a night out with friends. I do ask for a little time off at some points. You know, maybe work three weekends in a month then have one weekend off. But still work on weekdays.
