Emily, gardienne d'enfants à St. john's north

Hello, my name is Emily !
I am a young and energetic individual who is looking for full time or part time work caring and supporting the development of children. I am a recent graduate from the Early Childhood Education program from the College of the North Atlantic. Since completing this program in April 2020 I am now a certified level ll ECE. Throughout this program I had the wonderful opportunity to work with children ages 18 months-5 years old. I was able to use my knowledge learned in the classroom to support each child's development and early learning along with supporting the families as well. Primarily I studied behaviour guidance, child development, inclusive practice, and education planning. I am eager to begin a career and provide the highest quality care there is.

Along with my passion for working with young children, I am a very creative person. I am a dancer and dance instructor at The Dance Centre. I have been dancing for 20 years and teaching for about 5 years. I am also a local photographer here in St. John's specializing in portraiture. I also thoroughly enjoy being outside and being active, I believe fresh air and exercise are very important to the mental and physical well being of adults and children.
