Hi there. My name is Sky . I am 18 years old currently enrolled at Georgian College studying for the Child and Youth care program (1st year). In the future, I wish to become a Police officer. I am looking for a babysitting job with any aged children. My prevous experience with the youth involve; during the summer, I had a Lifeguarding/ Camp Counsellor job which took place just past North Bay. As a Lifeguard my duties were to provide any medical care if needed and supervise all patrons while participating in water involved activities. As a camp counsellor, I was assigned a group of 5-8 campers in which were all the same gender. From Monday to Friday we slept in tipees which are apart of the Native Cultural. In these few days that we spent together we participated in cultural activities such as sweat lodges, ceremonies, and arts and crafts. Swimming, hikes, canoeing, and games such as capture the flag, kick the can, and tag were played on a daily. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you.
I believe that 11.50 is a fair price for both myself and the employer. I am a certified lifeguard therefore I have my CPR B and C, AED, Red Cross First Aid which are all great certificates to have when providing care for youth.
