Hello,
My name is Shannon and I'm looking to become a nanny/babysitter. Growing up I have always enjoyed babysitting and working with children. I babysat full-time one summer after high school before university started. I also still babysit part-time if anyone needs it.
I worked at a hockey school for children ages 3-6 as well as 6-11 for 6 years. I enjoy spending time with children and teaching them new skills. I am a softball coach for children ages 13-16 because I love to work with children and see them develop.
I have graduated university with a degree in Commerce, however I am more satisfied and feel rewarded from working with children. I believe I will be an excellent role model for the children to look up to.
I am moving to Hanover and believe this job would be a perfect fit for me.

I believe that $10.00 is fairly standard whether it is babysitting or part-time care. I have been a babysitter off and on for over 10 years and I have a lot of experience working with children. For full-time care there is a larger responsibility so I believe that the rates should be slightly higher.
Of course I will always be willing to negotiate rates as well.
