Ashley, gardienne - N1C Guelph south

Hi there, my name is Ashley. I am a recent graduate of st.james high school. I will be moving onto post secondary in September 2015. I hope to go for my ECE and/or social work, if not both. I have a lot of experience with children. I'm currently working as a nanny but the time is up in September. I'm hoping to find a placement that I can stay with until i attended school in the next year. My wages are to be negotiated, I'd prefer somewhere between 12-13$ though, as that is how I am currently being paid. I nanny 3 children, aged 2-6. I encourage play with other children as I encourage at least a half hour a day practicing reading and writing. I cook and clean for the family as well and when I'm done my day I leave a list of all the things we do throughout the day, wether It be crafts or the park and library ect. I have 2 younger siblings whom I grew up babysitting. When I was 13 -15 I would babysit neighbours children an their night outs and after school for a few hours. I also completed a 2 term coop at first steps daycare which was absolutely amazing and taught me so much more about children. With that company I worked with ages 2-6. I've also volunteered at 3 different day camps since I was 14. I'm a very flexible and easy going person and love to play with the kids.
