I have experience working with age 10 months to 9 years of age. I worked as a caregiver from 2010-2013, then as a nanny from 2014-2015. I also was enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program, where I did placements with infants, toddlers, and school age children. I was expected to keep the areas clean, prepare healthy meals, and plan a curriculum. I am experienced in themed curriculum as well as emergent curriculum. I am extremely passionate about caring for children because it brings me great joy to see the true enthusiasm that emerges from children. I believe that proper care will result in a bright future for the children. I also believe that the caregiver should be expected to act as a family member to the child in that the caregiver needs to show genuine care and love. I love to do arts and crafts such as painting, scrapbooking, and sketching. I also enjoy emergent curriculum which involves analyzing what the children's interests are and planning curriculum around that. I enjoy cooking, especially baking.
