Hello, I am 20 years old and I am currently a Vancouver Island University student enrolled in the Criminology major program in Nanaimo, B.C. I am interested in this posting as I love children. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old and enjoy it very much. I also have three nephews so I do have experience with children. I have volunteered coaching gymnastics and soccer to the youth in the Terrace community and I have recently volunteered at the Canucks Autism Network in Nanaimo, which I found to be an extremely enriching experience. I am looking to mainly provide care to 5+ years, as I do not have very much experience with babies and young toddlers. I love to be active and would enjoy to motivate the children to take part in games and other fun recreational activities, as well as sitting down and helping them with their homework. I have worked for the past few summers receiving minimum wage and am looking for an increase in pay, as I will be returning to university in the fall and am unable to work. This is just a rough estimate and I am willing to negotiate up or down in price range, for the convenience of the parent(s).
