My name is Allie . I am 24 years old and I have a combined honours degree in Marine Biology and Oceanography. I have just moved back to Canada from Australia where I have spent the past two years. I spent much of my time in Australia camping, hiking, fishing, and snorkelling, and enjoying the beaches. In Australia I consistently spent my time working for busy, professionals, caring for children of all ages. I jumped head first into my nanny career caring full-time three wonderful girls (aged 10, 6, and 18 months). After that temporary position was finished I took a part-time position doing before and after school care for a 2.5 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. Most recently, before leaving Australia I had the pleasure of working full time for a lovely-but very busy-family consisting of three enthusiastic children (aged 4, 7, and 9). During all three child-care jobs that I held, I was responsible getting the kids ready for school, school drop-offs and pick-ups, after-school activities, meals, and any needed care during daytime hours, and bedtime routine. I am more than happy to do all-day care, school drop-offs and pickups, play dates, homework help, outings, cooking, and tidying, or anything you may need around the house. I pride myself in being very connected to the children I have cared for and I have goals to combine my marine biology degree and my love for teaching and children in a way that can be used in a clinical therapy setting.
