I am a mother of an only child who raised my daughter on a farm. I was a stay at home mom who volunteered at my daughters school and worked with kids who had reading problems. My daughter was into figure skating so was very much involved in all aspects of that also. I have two grandsons one three and the other six whom are active healthy boys and i have been involved in all aspects of their lives. I am a great believer on making learning fun for children and believe that is a way to encourage them to learn. I love to cook and encourage children to help with prep according to age limitations. Outdoor activities are also important weather permitting. I believe that keeping children active, their bodies as well as their minds is the key to keeping them happy and healthy.
