Marilyn, nourrice à domicile à Canmore T1W

Hi,
My name is Marilyn. I love taking care of children. They make me smile and energize me. I worked as a nurse for 18 years with children and am a mom of 2 Handsome, happy young adult sons.
I am from Newfoundland and have been living in the Bow Valley for several years now.
I work part time in a motel, (just 3 hours every second day).The hours are very flexible. I am looking to supplement my income, however if the right full time childcare job comes along I would consider taking it.
I have experience working with children in any setting. If I work with them at home I like to take them outside for a short while to a playground or for a walk, or play an outside game with them like What time is it Mr. wolf ?, (age appropriate game). I like to teach them to help with chores in the house. I try to have some little surprise or something new up my sleeve each day that they can get excited about when I come. That is for older children, now for newborns and babies I have all kinds of cuddling techniques and ways to keep them happy and from crying. I love playing with the little ones toys, distracting them, crawling on the floor with them, playing finger games and singing songs.
I have worked with special needs children and would consider doing that again also.
I believe in healthy eating and will follow whatever the family's instructions are to prepare food for the child and family if required. I know each family is unique in their routines and beliefs and will follow their lead.
I have numerous references, first aid and CPR. I am very flexible and look forward to hearing from possible employers, (loving moms and /or Dads).
