Bethany, gardienne à Calgary (penbrooke meadows / marlborough)

Hello.

My name is Bethany. I am 19 years old and have lived in Calgary my entire life. I have had children of all ages around me since I was 6 years old and with three younger siblings I am very comfortable with newborns, infants, and toddlers. When I was 9, I started volunteering for a kid's organization through my church called Kidztown International. Kidztown is a mash-up of church, Sesame Street, and the circus. There, I learned how to stay safe with children, keep their attention, speak in an appropriate manner, and most of all the sensitivity and attention it takes when you have a child in your care.

I have a passion for cooking and my favourite pass time is knitting, as well as other crafts. While I was in high school I wanted to attend Mount Royal University for their Child and Youth Work program, as working and playing with children has always come to me naturally. I believe in taking every opportunity to learn and teach, and I value family and understand the importance of a safe and stable home. Outside of work, I spend my time assisting with the youth group at my church, volunteering on our worship team, and spending time with my family.
