Hello there,
I am looking for work as a child care provider during the summer months. Whether that job be occasional babysitting, or full time care for a child or children, either is good with me.
I am currently studying to become an elementary school teacher. I have worked with children and have enjoyed it. I most recently worked as a substitute teacher for K-6 in public schools, on Prince Edward Island. I was also a student teacher in grades 1, 2, and 3, as well as in a classroom comprising of children in grades 3-6 with behavioural issues.
I have also worked as a student supervisor at two elementary schools in the Montreal region (South Shore), volunteered as a homework tutor and as an assistant at a daycare centre.
I have a degree in Theological Studies from Concordia University, which provides me with heightened skills in the areas of empathy, which I believe is essential when caring for young children.
I love kids which is why I am working towards being a teacher and am looking to work in the child care field.
