I'm an energetic, professional educator and counsellor who is interested in providing child care / nanny services in the Truro area. In addition to a Masters of Education, Counselling degree and being a Certified Canadian Counsellor, I have ample experience working with children and young adults, as a school counsellor and teacher and sitting for my many, nieces and nephews (age ranges 8 months to 15 years).

School Counsellor and teacher in the CCRSB since 2011. Implementing the NS Comprehensive Guidance Counselling Program and teaching English 11 and PreIB English 10 (2011/2012) and English Language Arts 9 (2015). I like to plan activities and games that are both educational and physically active and from crafts and cooking to literacy and social-emotional learning. Exemplary knowledge and experience in the areas of English Language Arts, study skills, essay writing, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, anxiety, and social emotional learning.
