We are a family of 3, myself and my 2 girls, 4 and 7 years old, looking for a mature, capable, experienced, heart-felt person to be an extra “head, hand and heart” in our home 3/4 days a week. You would work alongside Mom supporting her in all aspects of home life and feel like a part of our family and team. The girls are bright, playful and wonderful to be around.

We
enjoy eating wholesome made-from-scratch meals
play avidly outside in all kinds of weather (bike, hike, ski, playground)
have a media- free home
encourage girls to work alongside us in the kitchen, garden, home
do handwork projects (knit, paint, write letters)
play with natural toys (wood, silk, etc)
live in Silver Star Foothills in Vernon, BC

Ideally you have:
Experience working with children and knowledge of their developmental needs
Excellent housekeeper skills and ability to cook nutritious meat-based meals
Knowledge or willing to learn about how to support our children's education at a Okanagan Waldorf School and our home lifestyle
Some ECE experience
Ability to drive children to and from school/activities

Ideally you would be available for these times of day, when extra helping hands give more ease to our day:
getting ready for school in morning
home from school, dinnertime and bedtime

Ideally you are available Friday, Saturday and Sundays 2-8 pm
And Monday morning 6- 8:30 am

Flexibility is possible with these days and times (i.e.: maybe you can just do Fri and Sat, or Sat and Sun, etc.. or just do 4-8 pm etc....)

24 hour periods would be wonderful too, beginning Fridays at 2pm ending Mondays at 8:30 am.

Payment dependant on experience. Rate can be negotiated for hourly or daily.
