Job Description:
Feed or assist in feeding
Change non-sterile dressings
Shop for food and household supplies
Provide personal care
Provide companionship
Plan therapeutic diets and menus
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Assist the client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Launder clothing and household linens
Collect specimens
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder)
Mend clothing and linens
Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
Administer medications
Administer bedside and personal care
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Take the client to medical appointments

Requirements:
- Education: Completion of high school

- Experience: At least one year of full-time experience as a caregiver or personal care attendant is required
- First aid certificate is an asset
- Driver license is an asset
- Physically able to perform the job duties

Important Information:
The personal care attendant will be responsible for the care of a person with mobility problems due to a car accident.

The employer will pay for driving lessons if the employee does not have one

Salary: $15.75-$16.75 / hour - 30 hours per week. Work schedule will be from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and a second shift from 17:00 PM to 20:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday off. Flexibility of schedule is required.
