Hi there!

My name is Kayla. I would love to be of help to you and your family! Let me tell you a little bit about me.

I am currently a high school student who is 17 years old. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have always had a huge passion for kids and being able to take care of them, nurturing them, entertaining them, as well as, providing and surrounding them with a positive environment.

I cannot even begin to express my love for little ones. Being there to take care of, support, nurture, and entertain them is the best job in the world. They’re so precious and pure as well as it just warms my heart to see them grow, evolve, and reach new milestones everyday. It truly brings me so much joy and makes me so incredibly happy when surrounded by them. I light up and instantly fall in love. I will do whatever I can to put a smile on their face. Especially with newborns or infants, I never want to let them go! Not to mention a future career involving young kids/ toddlers/ infants, newborns, etc is definitely something I am wanting to go into!

I have looked after children of all ages. All the way from newborns to early teens.

Being that I am the second oldest of five kids, this has required me to mature fast, in order to be there, support and help raise my younger siblings since they were babies.

For example, get them ready for school, feed them their daily meals, change diapers, give them bottles, hold them in my arms, put them to sleep, take them to and watch them while they’re at their sports/ activities, charm them with a variety of different and exciting games, helping with learning a variety of new concepts, challenging and encouraging the development of their brain, practicing numbers, words, etc. However, most of all I am there to show them unconditional love. I also babysit my younger cousins very often as well. They’re also like my little siblings being that we’re so close with them, so I have also been looking after and babysitting them since they were babies. With that being said I’m used to having a lot of responsibility being put on me from a very young age.

I posses a variety of different interpersonal skills, some of the main ones being, I’m very patient, caring, kind, encouraging, empathetic, very positive and uplifting, well communicated and of course responsible/reliable.
