A little back ground information about me and my day home. I am a single mother of two daughters ages 12 and 17. Have been running day home on and off for 5 years. Have a wide range of experience with children of all ages, as well as children with behavioral problems and both physical and mental illness. I have a range of great references which I will add to the end of this email. I have a small day home just 3 children right now. I do have craft time I don't make the children do the crafts someday they are just not into it, which is fine but it is an option if they choose. Coloring painting, finger paints.. I do specials crafts for Christmas, mother’s day/ father’s day kids love to give gifts. I also do a movie and popcorn afternoon on some pd days the kids seem to love it. I have a fenced yard I like to try to get the kids moving outdoor but this is after all Alberta so that doesn't always happen. I have a safe clean home, the children do have a playroom set up which usually over flows all over the upstairs. I provide healthy snacks and meals for the children.
