Hello caregivers,

We are looking for a full-time nanny to watch our 12 month old son when I (mother) return to work. He will be spending his days at his Grandparents' home in Mississauga (Erin Mills area). Grandparents may be present during the week but the nanny will be the primary caretaker for the child. The nanny may alternate between caring for the child or completing some light-house work (if child is napping or under the immediate supervision of his Grandparents). On occasion, a second grandchild (3 years old) may spend the 1-2 days at the home. Rates are negotiable.

Major Responsibilities
- Supervise the children’s activities at all times
- Plan and prepare meals for the child
- Place the child down for naps
- Change diapers and bathe the child
- Perform light-house work housework (dusting, vacuuming, etc.)
- Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the child

Job Qualifications and Requirements
- High school graduate
- Experience caring for children
- Training in early childhood education preferred
- First aid training and child and infant CPR
- Car, driver’s license, auto insurance, and safe driving history
- Authorization to work in Canada
- English proficiency
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- Physical ability to care for a young child
- Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision
