For the past thirteen years I have been running my home daycare and pre-school programming. Prior to this, I taught both Junior and Senior Kindergarten in a school. I currently have a small group of very sweet and loving children under four years of age. Once the children reach about 14-16 months, I introduce an informal pre-school program which focuses on growing independent skills, language development, social interactions with their friends and most of all learning to explore in a stimulating environment, while knowing it is okay to make mistakes along the way. I have centers set up in the larger play area, park behind my home, will provide references as well as a police criminal check report.
One of the most important things to me - along with forming a strong bond with each child - is the bond that I make with parents along the way. I have always been a very strong communicator and you will know each day about highlights in your child's day with daily reports that go home, along with activities/work. I will always take the time to speak with parents about any issues that may arise and welcome, of course, any questions or feedback from you along the way as well.
