I am a mother of two children and one of my children has special needs. I have experience with children with sensory issues, speech delays and developmental delays. I also have experience with children who are blind and have physical disabilities.

I believe in gentle parenting and that every experience is a lesson. Building confidence, self esteem and problem solving skills along with learning self regulation in an age/developmentally appropriate manner is worked into all activities and interactions I have with children.

I have taken many different parenting classes like Coping with Toddler Behaviour and Triple P Parenting and am willing to get my CPR and First Aid updated.

I will be 34 years old and my daughter is 18 months, I would like to provide care where I can bring her. I am an active member of the Best Start Hub in Elliot Lake and I am also a member of the board for the Best Start Hub. I am very active in volunteering and participating in children related events.
