Hi parents! I am a stay at home mother of two children (6 & 3 years old) I am offering care to younger children in Merritt, B.C. I have two spots open. I am a mother who loves children and I enjoy watching kids learn and play. We have a Waldorf inspired home that I focus on with my own children and would love to encourage your children in a creative, natural environment to further develop problem solving, self exploration, descion making, healthy living, cause and effect, creativity, imaginitve thinking, and the natural world. We will do outside activities everyday and even bring nature inside with us. We will go bird watching, scavenger hunts, garden, sensory bins, crafts outside, weaving and felting, paint rocks/snow, collect bugs and lots of outdoor play to discover all nature has to offer! Our daily flow will include free play, outdoor play everyday (be prepared for all weather), circle time, story time, singing, rhymes and daily quotes, dancing, arts and crafts and baking.
I have a separate room for kids to nap in. I have a fenced backyard. I also provide nutritious (2) snacks and lunch. I offer a smoke free home. I am flexible with hours and could possibly offer care on some Saturdays and holidays if needed.
