Hello! My name is Sara!
I'm a 20 year old, small town Ontario girl. I'm looking for full-time work and/or on call babysitting work.
I currently live in Calgary, but will be moving to Barrie this September. As of this year, I have been working as a live-in nanny with 2 children, ages 2(going on3) and 6(going on7). I've looked after children of all ages in my family(aged 0-8), at co-op/during volunteer work(aged 2-4), and working as a nanny(aged 3-7). I love what I do, and I find caring for kids to be extremely rewarding.
I'm also a good "Mommy's Helper". I can run errands, cook, clean, and help with virtually anything.
I think my two favourite things to do as a nanny are doing crafts with the kids, or even just sitting around colouring, and cooking.
For babysitting, I know the usual pay is 10/hour for the younger generation. I on the other hand am experienced with children, and feel if you are looking for a helper who knows what they're doing, you'll have to pay a little extra.
As for the full-time, I'd be relying on this pay to support myself, as it would be my main source of income.
