My name is Maria and I am interested in a nanny position. My education consists of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and youth study with a minor in Psychology. I have many experiences working with children and my area of specialty is toddler and preschoolers (age 1-5). I am able to create a stimulating, creative & fun environment for your children. I have experience working at different child care centres as well as managing my own program: a day camp last summer. Some aspects included setting up spaces, doing activities & lessons, scheduling/routine, behaviour management, setting goals for children, and other business aspects. I am very organized, energetic, flexible, loving, patient, easy going, and enjoy working with children. I find it rewarding to see a child grow and learn because of one's impact on them. Through my faith I understand the importance of a child feeling safe and loved. I hope I can make a positive difference in your child's life. In the future my plan is to start a child care business of my own.
