Hello. I’m an early childhood educator who has a licensed home child care since February. I just moved into a new neighborhood that has a lot of daycare around which is bad news for my business but also a great thing since many of them invite providers for playgroups. We used to go every 4 out 5 days at the playgroups near by. I’m planning to do the same thing because all the kids liked being with different kids each day of the week & their parents loved seeing them in the pictures & videos doing different crafts & activities in a bigger environment. This time around I’m lucky enough to live near a public library so we’re have to do a little trip there together once in a while if we’ve had enough of the books we already have. Couple more things I should mention: 1) I’m an independent childcare provider who works with Centrepointe Childcare; 2) I’m bilingual; 3) I have a 5 year old who is in senior kindergarten; 4) I love dancing so on the day we used to not go at the playgroup, we played just dance in the afternoon after their afternoon snacks; & lastly 5) I value communication with the parents I work with. I hope we’re a match and as the parents of the little ones I’ll be caring for, I’ll be glad to be your co-educator. I look forward to hopefully meeting you & your lil one(s).
