I am a 23 year old female with lots of experience taking care of kids. I started babysitting at 12, have worked regularly off and on for family and others since then. I've also worked multiple summers as a week long overnight camp counsellor with kids aged 5-17 and have spent two years abroad as aupair (basically a live in international nanny/big sister). I'm most comfortable with kids 6+ months and have worked for more then one family with 4 kids so numbers don't scare me.
I'm taking a year off from university next year before starting my bachelor of education (for elementary education) and am waiting to hear back from a different program I’ve applied for. This means that I can currently only guarantee my availability for the summer.
I love being with kids and my strengths are in reading, crafting, playing games and helping with homework. I am reliable, fully vaccinated, can cook and prepare food when given instructions, I can do light housework such as washing the dishes. My current first aid certification will expire in June but I would renew it before starting. I don't have my driver's licence though.
My rates are based on the averages I've found from talking to others people I personally know and from comparing myself and what I have to offer with the profiles of others offering their services in Winnipeg on various babysitting/nannying sites
