My names Haley and I’m 22 years old, I have loved working with kids since I was 11 or younger. I have even began perusing a career in the field of Child and Youth Care at NSCC. I’ve been an independent babysitter , worked in a daycare, youth centre and group homes. I’ve also looked after loads of family members over the years. I am a very outgoing person who loves to be involved with the children I look after. I am able to cook and clean , and help with anything the children may need throughout the day. I love to read and watch any kind of Disney movies and have a wide imagination. I understand the patience needed to work with youth and understand that each and every child is different and will have different needs. I have basic special needs care experience as well and am familiar with mental health illnesses and disorders. I love learning and trying new things and spending my time outside in the warmer months and even colder months. I love crafts and colouring and have experience creating engaging activities for youth.
