Hi, my name is Raven and I am a 19 year old, female, part-time student. I would have to say about 80% of my life is children. I have five nephews, one niece and two younger sisters (though my sisters have grown up now). I have been looking after my younger sisters and other children since I was ten-years-old. I am your typical female, who loves to spend time with her family and friends as well as my boyfriend. On a regular day I usually do school work, but I like other activities as well. I enjoy shopping, I enjoy reading, I enjoy watching movies, and I enjoy running my other at home business.
I give quality and entertaining care to your children. I say entertaining because there's really nothing worse than a boring babysitter your children do not like. I make up quality and nutritious meal plans ahead of time and have them approved by you, and I also come up with activity plans that are fun, and run them by you to make sure it's an okay activity for your child to participate in. I like changing it up and I love trying new things, so I guarantee your children will never be bored. I also have an array of age groups I've babysat over the years, and that gives me a good grasp on what the child will like.
Also, as a caregiver, I have a sign up sheet for parents when hired, which tells me if a child has allergies, food intolerances, is unable to do different activities (i.e swimming), and how comfortable the parent is with different foods and activities, so I don't overstep any boundaries. It also offers a personality section on the child so I can get to know them a little better, as children can often be shy.
If you have anymore questions, feel free to contact me and I'd be more than happy to answer them.
Babysitting that happens outside of my regular work hours usually affects my schedule and the things I have to do, so that's why it is a little more. Part time care is cheaper because it gives me time to run my other at home business. Full-time care is set at $11.00 because it's fairly close to minimum wage, and I need to make a living.
