Hi Everyone!
I am a 24 year old Masters student studying developmental psychology and education at the University of Toronto, finishing up my online summer courses and graduating in August. I completed my undergraduate degree in Honours Psychology at McMaster University.
While studying I gained experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings, Clinical, School, Home-based, camps, and volunteer work with KidsHelpphone and The Hospital for Sick Children. I have around 12 years of childcare experience and about 4 years of professional nannying experience including travel!
I hold a valid Canadian passport as well as a British passport and have a passion for travelling and adventure as well as being outdoors. I enjoy sharing this passion with the children and families that I work with and hope to continue doing so. In my free time I like to read, exercise, and spend time with my family and friends. I love animals and especially love spending time near and in the water!
I have completed lifegaurding courses as a teenager and plan to recertify soon. I also completed caregiver training including CPR and CPR-C. I regularly complete vulnerable sector checks and would be happy to share any documents required to validate!
I am hoping to find a family that shares a passion for adventure and values experiences. I don’t rely on screen time and try to keep it limited as I find it does more harm than good and I try to fill free days with outdoor activities, outings to libraries and other educational facilities in the community. Respect and communication are very important to me and I would love to find a family that shares the same values.
