Hi there! I have over 7 years experience working in childcare, 4 of which I spent as a live-out nanny for a family I still hold as close friends.
A little about me:
I especially love working with infants and toddlers (aged 6 months-3 years), though I have experience working with preschool aged children as well. As an artistic person I love singing and playing music with children and conducting craft activities. I believe that a combination of artistic expression, creative play and outdoor exploration aides in a child's intellectual and emotional development.
In addition to my creative abilities, I also have experience working with children with disabilities (both intellectual and physical), behavioral issues, dietary restrictions and infants with diabetes (monitoring, maintaining and logging blood sugar etc.).
I have taken CPR and First Aid training as well as passed a criminal record check, though they are not up to date. Upon employment I will of course update these certifications for the safety of your family!
Salary is negotiable and we can discuss further if we are a good match.
