Hello, my name is Christine. During my 30 year career as an Early Childhood Educator, caring for children has been fascinating and rewarding. I have focusing my career around caring for infants. First in a daycare infant room atmosphere of 10 years. I had my own children and started caring for infants as a Nightie Night Nanny. The worked the night shift for parents of newborn twins or triplet until the babies slept through the night. I went from family to family for 5 years. The mother of the triplets asked if I could assist her 1 day a week for about a year. I loved being a Nanny so much that I obtain another Nanny position caring for a 7 month old baby girl. I was allowed to bring my 3 month old son with me to work. I cared for her for 3 years until the family relocated. While the babies were napping I wrote a book called Baby Can Play & Learn which contained developmental activities month to month for the first year taking in all areas of child development. I taught the program in churches in the community to Moms and babies. I also obtained a Certificate to teach Baby Sign Language classes. i taught classes for about 2 years but was missing being a Nanny. I registered with an agency and met the most amazing family of twin 6 month old baby girls, one with down syndrome. We were a perfect match. The babies were fabulous to care for, providing all meals, activities, outings as well as following up on all recommendations provided by the occupational and physio therapists. i watched the babies grow into toddlers and then little girls starting school. My contract ended when they started school in 2015 so now I am searching for another amazing family.
