Hello, My name is Rolanda, I am a 36 year-old healthy, energetic, fun loving mother of three. I have almost 10 years of experience working in a Daycare, as well as doing childcare out of my home and in the homes of whom I worked for. I have a clean Criminal Record as well as a clean Vulnerable sector Screening. (Last updated November 2013) can provide a copy. First Aid/CPR Certification needs to be updated (just expired Oct 26th 2014) can provide copy. I love to cook, I'm very clean and love to keep busy. I am great with children and can provide excellent references. I'm trustworthy, compassionate, loyal and above all, I put all of my heart into my time spent with children, weather it's professional or personal. I have taken one semester of the Early Childhood Education Program, but was unable to continue forward due to the fact that I couldn't afford to be a full-time student as well as full-time single (at the time) mother of three. However, I am confident that in all my years of being a mother as well as working at a daycare I have learned alot more about children, their development, stages, appropriate activities, motor skills and so on. Just to add a little humor, I have been known to be called, "The Baby Whisper". Fact!
I live in the Allandale area, I am looking for full-time employment. Unfortunately I don't have a driver's license, but now that I live in a city I realize that I am going to need to get it. Therefore I rely on public transportation.
