We have our own business which we operate out of our home. Running our business from our home has afforded me the opportunity to be able to be a full time mom which I am very grateful for. I have been a mom for 25 years and have loved it. My daughters are now 25 and 19. I have a way with kids and they always seem to gravitate toward me. I am very loving, snuggly (if the child wants) and education oriented. I am a very hands on parent. I am 52 years old so I have some experience under my belt. My family calls me the baby whisperer as I just have a way with kids. I have no problem looking after little new babies either. I am confident with all ages.

I also have experience with Asperger's Syndrome as my youngest is a high functioning Aspie. I home schooled her Grades 6-12. I try my best to understand each child and where they are coming from. I listen. whether it is something about likes and dislikes, their day, how they are feeling, whether they feel comfortable in a situation, anything and everything. I find that I am very in tune with children.

I am also VERY aware and dealing with food allergies. I am allergic to MSG and oregano, and my oldest has Celiac's disease (severe) so I know how to be careful regarding what children eat and making sure there is no cross contamination. I read all labels every time to make sure there are no related allergens in any and all food that is prepared.

I have no problem with dogs as I have a huge fur baby myself. I treat him like I treat my kids.. spoiled and much loved.

I am available for full time daytime hours Monday through Friday. We live on an acreage outside of Kitscoty, so I am available for Kitscoty and area, Lloydminster, as well as Vermilion. I am open to having kids brought to my house if that is what you prefer. Your home or my home, either way works for me.
