Esther, garde enfant - P7A Thunder bay northeast

Hello,
My name is Esther. I am an international student that moved from to Thunder Bay in January 2015 and I am currently taking the HR program at Confederation College. I am in need of a part time job to support myself financially and also keep myself busy while in school. I opted for a childcare job because taking care of children is something I have been doing since my childhood. I have grown to love children so much which makes taking care of them very easy for me. From taking care of my younger ones to taking care of my cousins to taking care of my neighbour's kids and to taking care of children professionally. Back home where I am from, my mother owns a creche/daycare center as well as a pre-school. While waiting to get admission into college here in Thunder Bay I worked at my mother's creche/daycare center for about 7 months. the job basically entailed taking care of children, picking them up from school, helping with their homework, preparing their meals, feeding them, etc. I learnt a lot from that experience that I feel I can apply to this babysitting job. I understand that the way children are taken care of goes a long way in determining how they turn out when they grow older which is why I understand how important a childcare job is. I am very patient with children and I can help with their academics as well. I will also ensure they have a great leisure time as I can play games with them, play with building blocks, read them stories, etc. I will be very grateful if I am given the opportunity to express my passion for taking care of children.
