Comfort, garde d’enfant à Ontario

My name is Comfort. I have been taking care of children since I was 14 years (that's 17 years of experience!). I started out by caring for my niece, who is a bundle of energy and found out how lovely it was to be around her positivity and cheerfulness. This started my love for being around kids and taking care of them. I'm sure you'll agree that there's nothing as beautiful as seeing the innocent faces and chuckles of young children as they play and as questions. From then on, I continued caring for children around me, including 7 children from my other 3 sisters. My love for children also influenced my choice to study Developmental Psychology, where I learned a lot about how best to care for children of varying ages, especially when they have special needs. I continued minding children right after I moved to another state, following my marriage, when I started minding my neighbors' kids while their parents were at work. One of these was Nifemi, an autistic child who required that I spend extra time and care with. As someone who is currently trying to conceive, being around other people’s children makes my day.
